Itinerary ( 11 days )
Arrive Srinagar
Arrive Srinagar. You will be received and escorted to your hotel/houseboat. In the evening you can make strolls around Dal Gate. Overnight Hotel/House Boat.
Srinagar – Kargil (210 kms)
Today we set off after breakfast for Kargil crossing over the Zojila Pass (11,575ft). Enroute we will make stops to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Kashmir. We will stop at Drass to visit the Kargil War Memorial. Overnight Hotel.
Kargil-Leh (250 kms)
Today we will drive from Kargil to Leh. Enroute we will make stops at Rock Statue Mulbekh, Fotula Pass, Lamayuru Monastery and Alchi Monastic Complex. At Alchi we will visit the world famous Alchi Monastic Complex which is also known as the Ajanta of the Himalayas for the breathtaking paintings and frescoes very much intact even after more than 1000 years. We will reach Leh by evening. Overnight Hotel.
Day Excursion to nearby Monasteries (60 kms)
Today we will go for a day’s excursion to Thiksay Monastery, Shey and Stok Palaces. This will be your introduction to Tibetan Buddhism along with history and culture of Ladakh. Overnight Hotel.
Leh- Nubra Valley (135 kms)
Drive to Nubra Valley, crossing over the highest motor-able road in the world, KhardunglaPass(18380ft) Evening visit the Sand Dunes at Hundar. Optional Camel Safari. Overnight Camp/Hotel.
Nubra Valley- Pangong Lake
Today we will drive from Nubra valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok valley. This newly opened route along the Shayok River is one of the most fascinating drives in Ladakh. The serenity and tranquility of Pangong Lake will mesmerize you in every aspect. Enjoy a nice walk along the Lake in the evening. Overnight Camp.
Pangong Lake – Leh
Drive back to Leh via Changla Pass. Reach Leh by lunch so that you can have some time in the evening to grab some souvenirs for your friends back home. Overnight Hotel.
Leh To Jispa
Today We Will Drive From Leh To Jispa. We Will Drive Over Taglangla Pass (17,480ft), Nakeela Pass (15,547ft), Lachulungla Pass (16,616ft) And The Spectacular Gata Loops And The Mighty Baralachala Pass(16040ft). Overnight Hotel.
Jispa To Manali
Today We Will Drive From Jispa To Manali. We Will Start A Bit Early To Avoid The Heavy Traffic At Rohtang Pass. Enroute We Will Cross The Spectacular Rohtang Pass (13,060ft). We Will Check-In And Rest Of The Day Is At Leisure. Overnight Hotel.
Jispa to Manali
Today we will drive from Jispa to Manali. We will start a bit early to avoid the heavy traffic at Rohtang Pass. Enroute we will cross the spectacular Rohtang Pass (13,060ft). We will check-in and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight Hotel.
Manali Sightseeing and evening departure
Today we will do a day’s excursion of some major attractions in Manali. We will start with Manu Temple, followed by Hadimba Temple and then Vashisht hot springs. In the evening we will board Volvo Bus to Delhi. Overnight Bus.
